Please familiarise yourself with the important things you need to know before submitting your booking request.

Booking restrictions

Because the hall is in a residential area, the committee has a policy of accepting no more than two bookings per month that involve alcohol (e.g. adult parties, weddings etc).

Hire fees

The fee charged for the hire of the Kūaotunu Hall depends on a number of factors, including whether you are local to the Kūaotunu area or not, how long you are looking to hire the hall for, and what type of event you are planning.

The hall calendar is kept up-to-date as bookings are received, so we recommend having a look at the calendar to see if the date you want is available.

Because the Kūaotunu Hall is a historic wooden building, the use of naked flames in the hall is strictly forbidden.

Smoking is forbidden, although this is allowed outside.

Glitter is also not permitted.
