Kūaotunu Hall Fee Schedule

Residents and ratepayers of Kūaotunu, Otama Beach, Opito Bay, Rings Beach, Matarangi, Te Rerenga and Whangapoua are entitled to a 50% discount on hire fees.

A further 50% discount is granted to NZ charities and for fundraising events whose total proceeds are used for the benefit of the local community.

GENERAL HIRE

(classes, meetings, workshops, training courses, etc)

$40 per 2 hours (for up to 8 hours) | $160 per calendar day*

* Multi-day bookings are charged on a calendar day basis irrespective of how much of the day is booked

Book for 4 days or more and get a 15% discount

PARTIES & FUNCTIONS

(involving alcohol and/or music)

$300*

* From noon on the day of the event until noon of the day following

WEDDINGS

$1300

From noon Friday to noon Sunday (other time periods by negotiation)

Includes up to two planning visits

FUNERALS & MEMORIAL SERVICES

Free for residents and ratepayers of Kūaotunu, Otama Beach, Opito Bay, Rings Beach, Matarangi, Te Rerenga and Whangapoua.

FURNITURE HIRE

(when used at other venues)

Trestle tables | $20 per table

Chairs | $10 per chair

Furniture may not be used or stored outside, and a bond may be required

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

A bond of between $500 and $1,000 may be charged depending upon the type of event and the availability of alcohol at the event.

Bookings for one-off events (including weddings) are not confirmed until a deposit of 40% has been paid (deposits beome non-refundable within 6 months of the booked date).

The Kūaotunu Hall Committee reserves the right to accept or decline any booking, and to be the final arbiter in all matters relating to the hireage of the hall and its furniture.
